COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION
AI Readiness Assessment
AI starts with the right conversations
Scored, benchmarked, and grounded
Our methodology is built from that substrate outward, which is why the findings we deliver translate directly into decisions your leadership team can defend and execute.
1. Kick Off
Aligning on scope, stakeholders, and outcomes. We start with a working session that brings your leadership team and ours into the same room. The goal is to agree on what we're assessing, who we need access to, and what your business needs out of the engagement. We define the scope across operations, corporate teams, and the value chain segments that matter most to you. By the end, both sides know exactly what's being delivered, when, and why.
2. Discovery
The full view across your business. We run interviews and working sessions across leadership, operations, technology, data, and risk to understand what's actually happening with AI in your organization. We talk to the people building it, the people governing it, the people using it, and the people accountable for the outcomes. Some of what we hear will confirm what your leadership already suspects. Some of it will surface realities the official view doesn't quite capture.
3. Evaluation
Scoring your foundation across five dimensions. We score your business against the readiness dimensions that determine whether AI investments scale or stall: data, technology, talent, governance, and culture. The scoring isn't a self-assessment exercise. It reflects what we found in the discovery work and what holds up to scrutiny from senior advisors who know the industry. The output is an honest read on where your foundation is strong, where it's fragile, and where it needs work before you scale.
4. Benchmarking
How you compare to the industry. We benchmark your readiness scores against peers in oil and gas, so your leadership team knows where you stand relative to the operators you compete with. The benchmark isn't a generic AI maturity index. It reflects the realities of your value chain segment, your scale, and the specific pressures shaping your business. You leave knowing whether you're ahead, behind, or in line with the industry, and exactly what that means for your next move.
5. Roadmap of Findings
The remediation plan, ready to fund. We deliver a full readout that includes your scored foundation, peer benchmarks, and the prioritized gaps that matter most. The findings are organized so your leadership can fund the right work, sequence it correctly, and assign clear owners from day one. We walk you through the readout live, answer questions from your team, and stay close after to support the decisions that follow. You walk away with a plan your board can act on, not a deck that sits on a shared drive.
The right conversations across your business
Our senior advisors who know oil and gas know which voices to seek out, which questions to ask, and which answers to push back on.
"Building an accurate view of where you stand"
Most assessments interview the people closest to the AI program and stop there, which is why they so often miss the realities shaping whether the work succeeds. We talk to the leaders setting direction, the operators running the work, the technology teams enabling it, and the risk and governance functions watching it, so the findings reflect the full picture, not just the comfortable one.
